Is Website design expensive in India?
Hi friends,
My business partner wanted to cut his expenses in designing e-commerce website. His idea was to get this done in India. He was surprised to find out that it is equally expensive. It costs him around 0 for a simple website design. In Indian currency this is equal to 20,000 Rs. Isn’t website design expensive in India by Indian standards itself ? Is this one of the reason that most of the companies in India do not have their own websites?

Please tell me more about how can I get my domain name registered and website hosted in only . I couldn’t find anything cheap like this.

Most of the established org who delivers websites, having their own websites, at least to show live profile to their customers. If you come across any such org without any website, simply do not bother to get in touch with them.
Being a Indian, I found $400 for a quality ecommerce website is too less. If money is an issue, ask you IT friend to help you out in making your b2c site live by using some open source applications like prestashop.com, magento ecommerce (little complicated) or OScommerce. All you need to spend is $4 for domain name and $7 max for hosting per year, so spending $12 you get your own B2C site LIVE
