I paid my fair share, but you wouldn’t know that because like other money matters you choose only to believe what you want. Roads are subsidized by a tax on fuel. Effectively a usage tax, iow only those who USE the roads pay for their upkeep. Why do you have a problem with that?

Was recently in a debate with some folks who thought it wise to look the other way when it was discovered just how high a proportion of ACORN volunteers had a background of violent felony convictions. And these are the sort we are to pay a salary to go door to door for census evals. Crikey! Sounds more like subsidizing criminals to case neighborhoods for future break-ins.

….I had someone tell me that a few of the young men who were installing fancy expensive stereos into peoples cars. Then sold the addresses & info to a third party who went out & “removed” said stereos! A little kid picked last for the ball game gets a lucky hit and runs around as if the team is behind him in support, only to find that there’s no one cheering him on, no one clapping, & not one friend waiting at the plate to high-5 him. The Fact is Small businesses cannot affrod ANOTHER tax / burden right now. Small business are folding like a house of cards all over the Nation.
The cities are “broke” from over spending, and NEED more money now – so they are going after the people who already pay their fair share. Home owners & small businesses.
In my state I can only get Workers Comp from 2 compnies – at an exorbent rate from either one. Open the State Lines up to Health Insurance & Workers Comp and we COULD afford our own

I overheard two old women talking in a store last week and one told the other that she wished somebody would hurry up and do something about that damn nigger president. I had a total stranger tell me that Obama is suffering from a lead deficiency. Another guy said they need to turn loose the guys in Gitmo and give them a dirty bomb and a bus ticket to the White House. These are rough days.
